XP+Windows for Japanese

Some customers want to run games which work just fine at
home (in Japan) on WinXP. When we try to install them,
here, a message/error box pops up saying "Windows for
Japanese only". I've tried installing font and language
packs (we can see/read katakana, hiragani, etc. characters
on web-pages, in Word, etc.).

Is there another patch/download here at Microsoft's site
to make our PCs compatible with their games? We can't
justify buying (or finding) a copy of WinXP Japanese for
this.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the games are expecting the Japanese language version of Windows, that's
the way they are programmed. I'd suggest you look for English language
versions of the games, because the Japanese version is regionalized.

Unfortunately, the software our clients are providing
aren't available in English. I'm trying to figure out if
there is any way to make XP Pro compatible...

I'm not sure of the Windows XP Multilingual User Interface Pack would be of
any assistance to you, but you can check it out.
