XP VPN - Default access VPN credentials

Hi!! I am setting up a VPN where users need to access
apps through a VPN - this is successfull however when I
try to use local LAN network resources - it says access
denied - it is defaulting to the credentials for the VPN
connection!!! When I enter local domain user and pwd it
works okay. DNS and IP routing all okay. Any
suggestions??????

use net use \\servername /u:username to create cached credentials. post back
with the result.
