XP user account

My Computer has just started refusing to let me log on to
my user account. In my welcome screen, when I try to open
my account the computer reboots. I can open my wife's
user account with no problem and then switch to mine. I
am the administrator account.

My computer will not let me switch. It's like I do not exist. I got to the screen with name and password but it would not log me in.
