XP upgrade

Hi

I have recently purchased the upgrade of XP for my
desktop.
I previously have run win2000pro and when i tried to
upgrade, the program (XP upgrade) runs for a short time,
re-starts the computer and then says it cant find a
version windows to upgrade
Has anyone got any ideas what i am doing wrong

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your desktop and see if there are
any upgrades you need to do before installing XP
