hi,

recently, i did upgrade my xp home edt xp2 to xp prof xp2. My pc save the
instance location at D driver instead of C drive (original location) during
upgrade time. After upgrade, pc encouter slow performance and file
transferring problem (file like doc, xls, ppt) not able to open through
internet.

Any hits for above case will be sincerely appreciated.

Only a "Retail Upgrade" or "Retail Full" (boxed versions)
of Windows XP Professional can upgrade over
an existing Windows XP Home Edition installation.

It appears you acquired an "OEM Version" which
may only be used to perform a "Clean Install" and
not an upgrade.

In order to solve your problem, perform a "clean install"
of Windows XP Pro.
