XP upgrade keeps restarting

Doug

I upgraded 98SE to XP on an older machine. Found out my
video and sound cards needed to be upgraded as well
because there were no drivers for XP. I installed new
video and sound cards with no problem. After the
installation of the cards I noticed many of my System
Tools such as Disk Defreg no longer functioned.

I decided to reload XP. The reload went fine until the
final restart. Just before starting Windows, the screen
that recommends starting in safe mode comes up. No matter
what I do - safe mode, normal, prompt, last good config.,
etc. the computer just keeps restarting over and over.

Thanks in advance for any & all help.

Doug, how much Ram does your system have? Did the new sound and graphic
card drivers install Ok?
