XP upgrade advisor - disk space required?

I am trying to run the xp upgrade advisor on my win98SE
machine, which has about 50Mb free on the C(windows)
partition, and loads more on the E (programs ) partition on
which it is installed.
It won't run, as a couple of steps in it complains about
disk space.

I've tried running it online but then I run into default
temp directory space problems (c partition again)

Does it require a minimum amount of space on C even if it is
installed on a larger partition?

(If I eventually go to XP I will be getting a larger HD
anyway - I am really wanting to use the advisor to check
other software and peripherals)

Many thanks.

50 MB isn't much nowadays.
You might try running disk cleanup and/or deleting some files/programs
