XP update install

I received notification to install Critical Update for
Windows Media Player Script Commands (KB828026). I have
installed it already, rebooted, and I still get
notifications that it is waiting to install.

This has never happenned to me with a Windows Update.

Any ideas?
 
Delete your existing media player from the system. Then
go back to Microsoft.com, download a fresh new version of
the latest media player.
