xp uninstall

i was having problems with the "System" process using up
to 96% of my CPU time, i installed a firewall, updated
xp, and did everything i could think of, so i thought the
only solution to fix this problem was install a new
version of windows xp. i don't know how to transfer my
programs to the new one yet but i'm sure i'll figure it
out. my question is what is the best way to uninstall my
other version of windows xp that i'm not using anymore,
especially get rid of the option in the boot menu (i have
2 windows xp options and 1 windows 98 option, i'd like to
get rid of the old windows xp) . thanks for your help

CPU pinned at near 100% most or some of the time is usually
Spyware related. Are you running an MP3 file-share like Kazaa?

omg. i can't believe how many ppl think that's the
problem. no, i don't have spyware, virii, anything like
that. i've checked multiple times... god. i know noones
gonna look at this message cause it just gets lost in the
past threads.. well thanks for your help anyways. gee, i
wonder how to uninstall xp? i should never have brought
up that stupid cpu problem
