Can I keep the existing user profiles on my XP Pro client
terminals after they join the Win 2000 domain? As soon
as any client joins the domain, they get a generic
desktop and lose all their current settings(desktop
preferences, short cuts, wallpapers, etc.)

Use the technique in tip 4027 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com
or prior to joining, set the current profile into the default profile.
