XP System hangs at Logon

System is hung at the logon screen requiring a hard reset.
this happens intermittently to all our XP systems...some
days everything is fine, other days not so good. It may
happen to 1 system or several systems or differnet systems.

Anyone else experience this?

Unfortunately, you don't provide enough information to get a good
answer. You say "all our XP systems" which leads me to believe you must
have a network setup. Perhaps the setup is incorrect and boxen are
looking for nonexistent or inaccessible resources. Perhaps you have a
virus/worm and the network is infected. Perhaps you bought all the
machines at the same time from the same supplier and hardware is
failing. Depending on your experience with computers and the complexity
of your network, you may just want to call in a good local computer
repair person. Or else post back with a lot more details.
