XP System dialing out on its own [argh]

A while back my XP system started dialing out on its
own. I can't figure out which application is triggering
it. RASAUTOU.EXE is controlling the dial out but I don't
know what it running it. I have done a full AV scan
(several times). I think it is one of my apps going
nuts. The login portion of the dial-out usually fails so
most times it is just the nuisance of the dialer
interupting our phone calls until I unplug the modem.

Can anyone help?

Have you run any spyware programs , You could try this (free one)
http://lavasoft.element5.com/support/download/ , you could have a trojan
..... Total

Some spyware is trying to phone home. Run anti-spyware apps.
