I think my computer has an issue with being offline.

Whenever I go online with it, everything's just fine and dandy...but there
are times when I'm not online and right in the middle of an activity, it
just..freezes. At first I thought it was a overheating problem (The problem
is on a laptop), until it start happening when the computer nor the adaptor
wasn't hot, or even warm. It usually happens 45 minutes to an hour before it
freezes. This is really ticking me off because i've lost a lot of work
countless times, and I've ran my anti-virus program every single time.

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition (with Service Pack 2), on a Dell Inspirion
2650 laptop.
