XP SP3 crashed my computer

Upgraded XP to SP3 and it worked fine until reboot. I now are unable to get
into Windows and get the following message on blue screen...

STOP: c0000139 {Entry Point Not Found}
The procedure entry point GdiGetBitmapBitsSize cound not be located in the
dynamic link library GDI32.dll.

Did you get ahold of the final release somehow?

Sad to say but any SP3 versions currently available from downloading
from any other web sites, other than Microsoft, is not any official
version. Not only this, the official general release of SP3 is
supposed to be April 29, 2008. Until it is made official, SP3 should
be treated as "beta" software and you at your own risk.

version. Not only this, the official general release of SP3 is
supposed to be April 29, 2008. Until it is made official, SP3 should
be treated as "beta" software and you at your own risk.


Majorgeeks has the final version.
I got it yesterday and have been running it for 24 hours with no problems.

I did clone my drive first using Acronis true image.

I suggest all folks clone their drive

If you can boot to safe mode...
uninstall it

The final version *is* available on two Microsoft web sites: MSDN, TechNet
for subscribers.
