with the firewall installed as part of this update is
there still a need to install any 3rd party firewall
applications such as Norton Personal Firewall

The Norton Firewall would be a good choice; however, you
should disable the Windows SP2 firewall to avoid a
conflict. At least that what I was told by McAfee
AntiVirus.
