XP SP2 User Name

I did a Windows Update to SP2 when it finished and rebooted I received the
"Click User Name" screen with no options to select. I only have 1 user so it
should have went directly to my desktop. The only other option on the screen
is to logoff.

When you are at the graphical login screen, I think you can press
Control-Alt-Delete and it will switch over to display a Login screen. Try
entering your username and password there.

You may be able to boot to "Safe Mode With Command Prompt" (F-8 on restart)
to then run System Restore.

It's likely you cured a spyware worm that replaced your registry entry for
winupdater.exe. Run a repair setup on the old system before upgrading.
