XP SP2 reboots with 4GB DDR RAM; OK with 2GB

I'm upgrading a Soyo KT880 Dragon 2 with a Sempron 2800+ (4GB DDR max.).
When I install 4GB RAM, XP boots to the logon screen, then the machine
reboots. Is this due to the 4GB limit? Any work around?

Sounds like a memory issue. Check that the new memory stick(s) are inserted
properly.

Do a Google search on BOOT.INI and you'll have articles with info on editing
the boot.ini to include the /3Gb and/or the /PAE switch, among many options.
