I just installed SP2 for winXP and now I can't find/work with "Network
Connections" anymore.

Any suggestions?

I wanted to adjust the IP address and DNS settings to my local net...
but...

SP2 is still *BETA*. You choose to be an unpaid beta tester. By accepting to install it, you also agreed to use the special newsgroups where you post such problems. Go there to report problems with SP2 so those involved can be made aware of your problem(s) with SP2. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/sp2preview.mspx for a link to show you the newsgroups for SP2.

Of course you are correct.
And at the link you gave me, I found the answer:

At the Start/Run prompt, I had to do:

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\netshell.dll

And now I get at the network connections like always.

thnx

I have the same problem with the RTM version. I had to uninstall it to get
my Network Connections, Anti-Virus, windows installer, and several other
things to start working again...
