XP SP2 Issue??

After installing and trying to configure the windows ver
of firewall. I cannot see all of my systems in network
properties when trying to veiw workgroup computers and my
shared folders and drives are not available.

I receive the following error message.

Workgroup is not accessible. you might not have
permissions to use this network resource.. ect,ect

You would need port 110 open if you had a pop3 server running.

I think the user had something else in mind.
