When installing XP SP2 on a laptop, either from a MS original Technet
CD, or from the Internet download, I receive "The Updatebr.inf file is
invalid." and the installation aborts.
A search of my system only shows updatebr.inf in various hotfix
subdirectories that Windows Update has automatically installed on the
system.
Install of the same CD on other systems works fine.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
