I run Win XP home SP2, and disabled both the firewall (using the option: "I
have my own firewall..." in the XP security center), and also the firewall
status notification of XP, so it wouldn't tell me every time on startup that
the windows firewall is disabled (which I know and did on purpose).
Unfortunately, XP doesnt seem to save these settings, and on every startup
keeps informing me that the XP firewall is disabled, and also "forgets" the
setting about my own firewall.
Any ideas on how to make XP listen to what the user wants?
Thanks
