Hi, does anyone have a fix for a corrupted firewall. This causes loss of all
internal sites, mapping of drives, sharepoints, etc.

= Run command: (Credit to the MVP Ramesh)

rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection Ndi-Steelhead 132
%windir%\inf\netrass.inf

Restart Windows, and then run this command (from Command Prompt):
NETSH FIREWALL RESET
Reboot your computer and See if you can have access to turn ON the
firewall and stay next time.

= Open a Run command and type:
Services.msc click [OK]
On the services control panel make sure these services are Automatically
started.

Security Accounts Manager
Security centre

Close the Services control panel and Reboot your machine.

Hi, I will keep this in mind for another time. I ended up just reinstalling
xp sp 2. I had the cd lying around here. It worked. Thanks for the tip, my
