XP SP2 Error 'winmm.dl'

I get the following messgage afterlogging in and when I select windows explorer
" The procedure entry point mciSendCommandA could not be located in dynamic
link library WINMM.dl"
Can any one please help

Zeeman,

The entry-point "mciSendCommandA" definitely exists in Winmm.dll. Perhaps extracting a fresh copy of this file from the source will help.
