XP SP2 and roaming profiles: index.dat's are not deleted

We had problems with roeming profiles:

the index.dat from cookies and history ist sometimes held open by
winlogon.exe and can't delete from the local copy of an roaming profile. IE
is updated with the latest hotfix.

from userenv.log:
