Does anyone know the workaround to getting Ghost 9 to work with XP SP2.
I was able to get all of Systemworks working except for anti-virus and
Ghost.

Thank you

Do you have Microsoft .NET Framework installed?

There are no known issues with SP2 and Ghost 9. What version of Antivirus
are you using? There should be no issues with SP2 and any Norton product
2003 and above.

Whatever issues you are having with Norton Ghost and NAV are unique to your
machine. Perhaps you could provide more details (system spec, OS specs,
what errors you receive, what you have tried, etc).

I think so. When I check for XP updates I am told that there are none.
Is there a different way to check?

With Ghost, I get the message that it installed ok, but then I get the
message 'unable to connect to agent, service not running'.

With anti-virus, I get an error message during install. I went to GRI
as an alternative, and it works fine. I am interested in getting Ghost
going so that I can mirror my main drive to my old drive for back up.

I am running Dell 1.3, 256, 60gb --the performance is fine. I was able
to run Ghost under SP1 and then I uninstalled and went to SP2. This is
when the problem started. Incidentally, I am also not able to run
Adobe distiller (memory error creating pdf) under SP2, but was under
SP1 (the rest of Adobe functions fine).

Thank you

Go to "Add or Remove programs" in the Control Panel, and
see if Microsoft .NET Framework and Windows XP service pack 2
are listed.
