I reinstalled Windows XP, and I am trying to install SP-
1.....

I get an error that the C: partition is too small (it is
8MB), while the D: Partition is 40GB.

Is there a way to direct it to install on the D:
partition?

Getting XP installed takes only about 4GB. Building it up to a usable
system seems to take over 10GB. Plan accordingly.
