for some reason window SP professional is very, very slow to shut down.
everything is running fine, all updates (XP) have been installed.
using norton internet - but that always ran ok in the past?
someone said it is an issue of networks and drives that windows looks for
before closing
i do have a few mapped drives, from various networks that i hook up to as i
have three different offices which have different servers and drive that i
hook to.
i also us wired and direct connected networiks
and i have a couple of FTP sites mapped
i also have a pda, digital camera, digital dicating recording, dell ipod
type device that may or may not be hooked in at any given time
someone said to switch to the adm user prior to shutting down - i can not
seem to find that user
my name is a user w adm rights
any thoughts
