XP is shutting down when I attempt to restart. Restart
works in Safe Mode in XP and also if I boot into Win98.
It worked fine on initial install but went buggy somewhere
along the way.
I did disable a few services and am wondering if this
could be the problem.
Any guidance appreciated.

Sounds like a sound or graphics driver to me. Services can cause a lockup
but seldom a reboot.

I'm not having a random shutdown/reboot problem.
When I try to do a Restart from the StartMenu the computer
shuts down with no restart. Sorry if I didn't make myself
clear in first post. Thanks for the fast reply though.
