XP Shutdown

When I shut down (XP Pro SP2)my machine frequently hangs up because
"CardReaderLookup" does not respond. I cannot find Card Reader in any of my
programs, and 'Search' does not find it either. Can somebody please tell me
what this program is, and how to get rid of it?

of the supported devices?
