XP Setup message at bootup

Hi all, everytime I start my laptop I get the following
Message appear in a window headed XP Setup

Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure
System Components

That's it no other clues as to which components, just an
OK button.

Any ideas

Intersting reading Will but it didn't help. Ihave found
what causes the problem but I'm not sure of the correct
solution. I downloaded and installe Mike Lin's excellent
Startup Control Panel and discovered a program called
Reboot_check in C:\WINDOWS\System32\Setup.exe....I
deselected this and the popup window no longer occurs.

Does anybody have any knowledge of this program.

I haven't used that particular program, so don't know if it is helpful or
not.
