xp set up

Hi I have a computer that is currently running windows me and want to upgrade
to windows xp. I am not very good with computers and want to know how(in
simple terms) to install xp. I have bought the full version not the upgrade.
The instructions have gone missing!! So can someone help? I have read the
microsoft page but am still not sure. Thanks

do you want a fresh install, wiping all the old stuff? i recommend that...
