Search makeover, but little else, according to the company.

I wonder what this means? I think the existing search facilty is awful!

So SP3 for XP won't be out till the first half of 2008? That's pretty weak.
I guess I'll win my bet with my colleagues though, I said it would be over
100 patches to download before SP3 came out. It should make that pretty
easily.

Maybe, maybe not. If it didn't come from Microsoft, it's rumor, not
"news," as the subject of this thread puts it.

Believe it if you want to, but I don't recommend betting the farm on
anything an article like this states.

Personally, I neither believe nor disbelieve it. I don't know when SP3
will come out, and I don't want to speculate. When it comes out, it
will be out.
