XP Service Pack 3 - automatic update failed

during the installation the free space on disk check reports I need minimum
4Mb more space in C:/windows/$NtServicePackUninstall$. But there is more than
20 Gb free ! And this path does not exist. When I create this folder - same
result.

I work on a Mac with Bootcamp in a 32 GB Windows partition. WinXp SP is just
installed together with the Bootcamp drivers. Other automatic updates work
fine, just the SP3 failed.

Given you actually gave the necessary information, I should tell you that
macintosh users and pc users both benefit from Internet search engine use.
;-)

Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Example...
boot camp SP3
http://www.google.com/search?q=boot+camp+SP3

You need to keep *all* your software up to date - not just your Windows
system, but your Macintosh side too. ;-)

Thanks Shenan.
The link to update the bootcamp solved the problem. Normally I am not a
PEBKAC. But this time I lost hours on this and not thinking about the apple
software. So anyway Thank you.

PS
How can I write a backslash with a german apple keybord in windows? I have
just found something for english keyboards.

regards Lutz
