Hi,

Replacing retail disks:

Retrieving your Product Key:

This utility works for retail versions:
http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/ViewKeyXP.exe

or try this one which just gives you the key for any version:

If you have your "valid" retail CD Key, just burn a copy of someone else's
CD. It must be the exact same as the CD you lost. Ex: Windows XP
Professional - Upgrade Edition

If it was an OEM CD, you may be out of luck, depending on how your original
CD was set up by the computer manufacturer.

If yours was a retail version, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[ln];326246.

But if it was an OEM version, Microsoft won't support it and
you're probably out of luck. However it doesn't hurt to try
asking the OEM you bought it from if they can replace it.

You can find the Product key with any of these:
