xp security update for wireless broadband

I downloaded the latest security update for wireless
broadband using Windows XP.After the update was
installed,I was no longer able to get back online.I have
lost capability to get a connection.Please help

Remove the update 826942, or upgrade the firmware of your router/card to
be WPA compatible.
