XP Restore Continuous Loop

romptXP PRO went belly up. Restore from Windows would not work. Tried from
reboot F11: went into continuous loop on drivers after Windows menu, but
before login screen. Using boot disk or safe mode goes to same loop. Safe
mode with command prompt does not work.

Gateway has been totally useless.

Anyone with some ideas?

Instead of Safe Mode try "last known good configuration" from the options.
