Xp Reinstall trouble

Hi i have been having alot of trouble with my pc recentley because it wouldnt
even load up to windows, so i decided it would be easier to do a fresh
install by booting it up from the start.
However when i get to the point where i have to put my product key in it
says that the code is invalid when i know its not, Is there anyway around
this because i really need to get to my pc and i dont want to have to
purchase a new xp cd.

You may have two different install keys and not know it. One may be on the
disk supplied by the computer manufacturer. The other may be physically on
the computer. They are likely different. Look for it. Then try the one you
have not yet used.
