XP Reinstall - Installing Devices

During a reinstall of XP at the 'Installing Devices', 34
minutes left to install, my PC reboots and restarts the
reinstall process. I found that I can press Shift + F10
to get to a command prompt. Then I enter devmgmt.msc and
I can see the devices that are being installed. At the
point of rebooting, the reinstall process is attempting
to install my Sony monitor. There is a yellow exclamation
mark next to the device. What does this mean? What can I
do to get past this point? I have considered attaching a
different monitor in an attempt to get past this point so
that the reinstall process can finish, then add my Sony
monitor. Ideas, anyone?
 
Swap monitors, get xp installed, download xp drivers for your sony monitor,
install sony.
