XP registered to 'Default'

Hello all:

I bought a new computer last week that had preinstalled
Windows XP (Home Edition).
I followed the instructions to activate the windows and
register it with MS. However for some reason the user name
for this computer always shows up as 'Default'.
Why is that and how can I change that?

Information:
When you install Windows, the system asks you for your name and organization
details.
The copy of Windows is then 'registered' to you - in your case "default".
When installing other applications, this information is used to provide the
default name and organization details.

Thanks a lot. It worked. Now it lists my name as the owner
and not default.
