XP recovery

Hi all!
i have recently tried to use the recovery console on the
XP Disk, however it seems to want an administratoe
password. after typing in my password, the only
administrator password on the computer, it tells me it's
invalid.

Can anybody help I would be most grateful

Try a blank password.

It wants the one for the reserve account *called* Administrator. You
may have been asked for that during setup, but quite likely it is a
blank - try bypassing the request (with TAB) and Enter
