XP Program Language

J

Junior

I received a used laptop from a friend as a gift, as he upgraded to a
new one. It has Windows XP Pro installed along with a couple of other
programs. It even came with the COA attached to the bottom of the
computer. When he asked if I could use the computer, I said yes,
without ever thinking that, as he is Latin, XP might be in Spanish.
Needless to say, I don't understand Spanish. Can the software be
changed to English or, must I buy an English version and do an entire
reinstall to correct this major problem?
TIA

Hi

You can't change the language in XP, so you will need to purchase an English
language version of XP. You can then either perform a 'Clean' install of XP
or dual boot with the Spanish version.
