XP Profile Recovery

I stupidly deleted a users profile (local, not roaming)
on a WinXP box (System Recovery was turned off), and
restarted the machine.

What then followed led to the user whose profile was
deleted logging back onto that particular machine.

What I would like to know is if there are any tools
(Microsoft, Windows, or otherwise) that would allow me to
recover the users data from the profile that was deleted,
then overwritten?

There are third party utilities that "may" be able to recover that data if it has not
been overridden yet, Search Google for "Windows file recovery". Many have a free
trial version which may or may not be limited. --- Steve
