My computer hangs on boot with the following message:

Boot from CD
Error 5:Error finding vfloppy.sys
Error 8: Fake floppy driver not found
Press any key to active partition

When I press the any key, boot up continues.
Whats the problem?

Hi rcreque,

Have a look at the following Symantec KB articles:

Error 5: "Error finding VFLOPPY.SYS" when rebooting to a virtual floppy
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...mage&ver=2002&src=sg&pcode=dimage&svy=&csm=no

Error 8: "Fake Floppy driver not found. Press any key to boot active
partition" when rebooting to a virtual floppy
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...mage&ver=2002&src=sg&pcode=dimage&svy=&csm=no

If you used Drive Image's Boot Disk Builder to create a virtual floppy, then
boot from the WINXP install CD in order to access the Recovery Console (
description of the Recovery Console is available here
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=314058 ) and run the FIXMBR
command.
