XP Professional audit problem

We run an audit on our network each time a machine it
logged on, this displays a pop up message saying 'Computer
audit in progess this may take a few minutes please be
patient', however when the audit finishes in XP Prof the
rectangle where the message was remains, this rectangle
then picks up the pattern of the background and remains,
its very annoying as it remains in the foreground and you
can't see through it! This only happens in XP Prof and
not Win2000 Prof or Win98 - any ideas anyone????????

Sounds like a video driver problem. Check for updated Windows XP
video drivers on the card manufacturer's web site.
