xp pro won't boot

Can't boot into xp, just get a blank screen. Can't boot
from cd, I downloaded the xp strart up disk and now I
can't repair or reinstall xp. I get the error message
Teh following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is
corrupted or missing: Value 0 on the line is section
[Source Disk Files] with Key "SP1.cab" Setup cannot
continue. To Quit Setup, Press F3 Can someone help me
with this error.
 
Sounds like you have a corrupt boot sector, your going to
have to completely udmp your system and reinstall.
