XP Pro unable to see workgroup computers

I am unable to view other computers in my workgroup. I am able to ping all
other members and receive replies back. Other computers can see my computer
listed but are unable to view or ping my computer. When I run the network
diagnostics my NIC errors when trying to ping to my computer. I have
disabled my firewall. The workgroup has computers using XP and 2000 and are
not having any difficulties.
