XP PRO SID CHanging

I think I may already know the answer to this...But Here it goes any way.

If you are Ghosting a PC in a network enviornment, changing the computer
name does not change the SID right??? you have to use GHost walker or sysprep
to get this done Correct???? and if you dont change the SID, can some please
tell me what kinds of problems will you experience?

Thanks..... hope to hear from some one soon.

If you ghost or image a drive then restore it on another machine, then
try to join that machine to the network, you'll run into problems,
yes. If on a domain, the domain controller won't allow the identical
SIDs.
