XP Pro sharing problem

MIke

I have a network with 3 new PC's running XP Pro through a
NetGear broadband router, wired. PC's 1 & 2 are fine.
PC 3 can see and access resources from PC's 1 & 2, no
problemo. PC's 1 & 2 can see 3 browsing, but cannot
access resources. Resources unavailable, unable to
locate when I double click on PC3, when I try to attach
by typng in IP address or comp name in browser address
bar.
I can ping 1 & 2 from 3, but timeout when pinging 3 from
1 or 2. 3 pulls DHCP address fine, and is listed in
routers device table. Using static address doesn't fix
problem.
Uninstall/reinstalling NIC (onboard) doesn't fix. Simple
file sharing enabled.
??????? any ideas?

.

Are you running any kind of firewall on 3. If you can ping
but cannot access the computer then it sounds like a
permissions problem.
