XP Pro restart

We have 2 year old AcerPower FH desktop machines with XP Pro SP3. They came
with all sorts of proprietary programs for security and other stuff which I
believe effected the machine's operating efficiency (slowed them down
periodically) so I uninstalled them.

Some of the machines are now restarting spontaneously with Event ID 7000,
source of "Service Control Manager", and some of the following messages:

The ZDPSp50 NDIS Protocol driver service failed to start due to to the
following error: The system cannot find the specified file.

The eLock2BurnerLockDriver service failed to start due to the following
error: The system cannot find the file specified.

The eLock2FSCTLDriver service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the specified file.

I haven't found anything that is helpful on the web. Help.

Let me see if I understand you: Your computer originally had some type
of security software, which you uninstalled, along with "some other
stuff," and now your computer is behaving erratically, and you don't
know why.

The "Other Stuff" was eDataSecurity, eFramework, eLock (the Event Viewer made
direct reference to this one), ePerformance and eSetting. Below is a link to
the page where you can download them, even though the computer had them
pre-loaded. Another program had to do with a USB Dongle and wireless card
(didn't come with one).

You may need to re-install those "removed" applications. You now need
to place the PC back to a "working" state. Or you will need to to
save all your documents / emails and re-install the Acer version of XP.

I thought so. Fortunately, I know where to get them without going to the
recovery disk I made when first starting up.
