Xp Pro Repair Problem

S

SMC

Hi everyone,

So I install win2k one my other hard drive, to free up
system resources to play flightsim (xp uses all 208 mb of
ram+the 500mhz p3). Anyway, I known that after installing
w2k, one has to repair xp to fix the now corrupt xp boot
sector. That STARTS fine, then before it getis to file
installation, it says it can't fin the "asms" folder and
please insert the xp pro disc. Both discs I own have the
file on them and both don't seem to work. One I used to
install the xp pro copy in the first place without a
problem and the other is a back up copy of that disc. I
tried my usb drive too, but the chance for sucess is slim
to none with that anyway. I could try the repair over
again or attempt to install another cd drive (I have
several lying around). What are your thoughts???
